Winning Pitcher: Dean Kremer (5-9) 4.48 ERA - Pitches 92 / Strikes 62

Losing Pitcher: DJ Herz (2-5) 4.25 ERA - Pitches 85 / Strikes 58

Baltimore - In spite of a good effort from Nationals starting pitcher DJ Herz, his performance with a good 6.0 inning 2 run game against a very good offense, tied his career high of six innings against the Orioles tonight.

Herz did not get the run support needed tonight for a victory. A night after the Nationals offense produced 14 multiple base hits last night, tonight they collectively produced only 5 hits.

Yepez, Garcia, Jr, Ruiz, each had one hit on the night and Alex Call had two, and the lone RBI. We have seen this many times this year after a big night of offense the bats go cold.
