The Washington Nationals have just announced that catcher Keibert Ruiz is going to be called up and make his Nationals debut on Monday Night! Ruiz was the centerpiece of the Trea Turner and Max Scherzer trade to the LA Dodgers back at this year's trading deadline.

He has been playing in Triple-A since being acquired at the trade deadline back at the end of July. Keibert Ruiz has been tearing it up in Rochester. During his time in Rochester, Ruiz has played 20 games and has had 78 at-bats where he has had 24 hits, two doubles, five home runs, 14 RBI's and has a batting average of .308
He’ll catch Josiah Gray, a battery that Washington hopes will be a staple in DC for the next half-decade.
