After a really really bad 2022 season, and some heartbreak during the season, the Nationals will have the number second pick in the 2023 MLB Draft which will occur during the All-Star Game in Seattle.
This will mark the first time that the Nationals will have a top 5 pick since 2010 when they drafted Bryce Harper.
This is also the first time in MLB History due to the changes in the rules that the team that had the worst record in the previous year didn't have the number one pick for the draft.
As we get closer and closer to the draft we will have profiles on some of the potential draftees that the Nationals will now be looking at.
