In their first road trip of the 2022 season, the Washington Nationals head to Atlanta to face the 2021 World Series Champions. Last year the Nationals went 4-6 against the Braves at Truist Park. After this series, the Nationals and Braves will not face each other for two months…They will see each other at Nationals Park, from June 13–15. The Nationals will face the Braves 19 times this season with 10 in D.C. and 9 in Atlanta.

LHP Josh Rogers rejoins the Washington Nationals starting rotation in 2022 after making six starts for Washington at the end of 2021. Rogers signed a Minor League contract with the Nationals last year on June 4. Additionally, he was selected by the New York Yankees in the 11th round of the 2015 First-Year Player Draft out of the University of Louisville (KY). In 2021, Rogers throw 4-Seam Fastball 52.6% of the time, the Slider 32.7%, Changeup 14.5%, and the Curveball 0.2%.
