Game storylines and notes

Last time out.
The Nationals used an early home run from Luis Garcia Jr., 6.0 shutout innings from Mitchell Parker and a three-run triple from James Wood to secure a 4-3 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers in Sunday afternoon's series finale at Nationals Park. LHP Mitchell Parker pitched 6.0 shutout innings, struck out three and allowed just three hits and three walks. This was his second career start of 6.0 or more scoreless innings (7.0 IP, 3 H, 8 SO on April 21 vs. Houston).
Luis García Jr. went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and now has seven multi-hit performances over his last 10 games.
OF Alex Call went I-for-2 with a double and a walk. RHP Kyle Finnegan recorded his career-high 30th save of the season with a scoreless ninth inning.
Into WOODs.
