The Rochester Red Wings lost 6-2 to the Lehigh Valley IronPigs on Friday night. Despite strong performances from Travis Blankenhorn and Carter Kieboom, the Red Wings were unable to overcome the IronPigs' offense.

Blankenhorn continued his impressive hitting streak with a solo home run in the third inning. The slugger is now on a 10-game hitting streak, batting .488 with seven home runs during that span. Kieboom extended his on-base streak to nine games, contributing a hit and a walk to the Red Wings' cause.

On the mound, Carlos Romero provided a solid relief outing, tossing two scoreless innings. Over his last six appearances with Rochester, Romero has posted a 0.96 ERA.
