LHP MacKenzie Gore pitched well for the Nationals, allowing only one earned run and striking out four batters in six innings. Andrés Chapparo drove in both of the Nationals' runs.

The Nationals now have a record of 6-3 against the Braves this season. If they can win one more game, they will win the season series for the first time since 2017.
