Tonight is game two of a six-game series between the Harrisburg Senators and Erie SeaWolves (Detroit Tigers). Erie enters the game tonight in first place in the second half, one game ahead of Bowie. Erie has taken 10 of the 13 games played between the teams this season, including four of six at FNB Field in late May and early June. The SeaWolves are looking for their first playoff appearance since 2013, when they lost to the Sens in the first round.

After this series with the Erie SeaWolves, the Harrisburg Senators make their only trip this season to Richmond to play the Flying Squirrels in a six-game series beginning Tuesday, August 30th. Then they return home to face Akron in their final home series of the season. They finish the season in New Hampshire for the second consecutive season.

The Harrisburg Senators opened their six-game series with the Erie SeaWolves Tuesday night and lost 9-1. The SeaWolves scored eight of their nine runs with two outs. Harrisburg scored their only run on a solo home run in the second inning off the bat of Israel Pineda. Erie began the day tied for first place with Bowie.
