Rochester, NY - The Rochester Red Wings will look to bounce back from getting blanked last night against the Toledo Mud Hens. RHP Patrick Murphy will get the ball for the Rochester Wings, making his third start of the season in game two of the series vs. Toledo.

Entering his 10th professional season, second with the Nationals organization after being claimed off waivers from Toronto on August 14, 2021, RHP Patrick Murphy was originally selected by Toronto in the third round of the 2013 Draft out of Hamilton High School (AZ).

Murphy was named Florida State League Most Valuable Pitcher in 2018. and made his first start since August 24, 2019, with Double-A New Hampshire on 8/1 versus Norfolk.

Murphy made his second start on August 23, 2022, in Indianapolis, working four hitless innings.
