The Bowie Baysox took their fifth straight from the Harrisburg Senators Saturday night with an 8-0 win at FNB Field. Bowie tallied four runs in the second and then broke the game open with three runs in the fifth inning on a three-run home run. Harrisburg threatened in the seventh, putting runners at second and third, but came up empty.
Tim Cate started and went five innings. All seven runs scored against him came with two outs. He allowed six earned runs on seven hits and four walks. He faced 27 batters in his five frames. Danny Dopico and Malvin Pena followed. Pena allowed an unearned run. The two combined to go four innings and allowed just two hits.
Jack Dunn and Andrew Young both had two hits. Dunn entered the game, hitting .317 over his past 22 games.
