Nationals prospect Marc Davis punches out his seventh batter during five innings of work for Single-A Fredericksburg.

Davis dominated the Carolina League in July, posting an impressive 0.45 ERA in four starts. The 24-year-old right-hander showcased exceptional control, striking out 18 batters while walking just eight in 20 innings pitched. Opponents struggled against Davis, hitting a measly .134 average.

Davis, who was selected by the Nationals in the 11th round of the 2021 MLB Draft, missed the 2023 season due to Tommy John surgery. Davis was assigned to the Wilimington Blue Rocks from the Fredericksburg Nationals on July 26th.
