Leading today’s Morning Briefing: The Washington Nationals announced the 2024 season’s schedule
Yesterday the Nationals and the rest of Major League Baseball announced the schedule for the next season. They already did better than last year, with schedules not coming out until the end of August.
Balanced schedules are here to stay, with the Nationals hosting Houston, Toronto, Minnesota, Seattle, the Angels, the Yankees, Kansas City, and per usual Baltimore from the American League. They begin their season on the road against the Cincinnati Reds, but end it at home against the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Nationals’ first home game is April 1, against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
