Leading today’s Morning Briefing: Nats fail to record a hit
RHP Michael Lorenzen threw a no-hitter against the Nationals last night on 124 pitches. It was the first time the Nationals have been no-hit. It was also the first time the Nationals offense had been shutout since April 19th against the Baltimore Orioles.
All you can hope now is the Nationals bounce back and put up a good fight against Aaron Nola tonight to even the series.
Your Nats Report Player of the Game is Robert Garcia. He threw an inning without allowing a run. Tonight’s game starts at 6:40 p.m. on MASN2.
