Phoenix, AZ - Early this morning the Washington Nationals lost their second game in a row in dramatic fashion with walk-off's in the 9th inning, this time Corbin Carroll had the honor of stealing a victory from the Nationals. Final Score 9-8.

The Nationals are now 49-58 on the season, 10-14 as they enter the last few days in July, and 26-31 on the road this season.

LHP Mitchell Parker started the game for the Nationals, pitching 5 complete innings, with 74 pitches, as you can see in the chart below only giving up 4 hits, 2 earned runs, and struck out 3. First 3 inning's Parker faced 9 batters, and 9 batters got out, with a stingy 37 pitches. Arizona didn't record a hit until the 4th inning. Kyle Finnegan got the loss for this game. Unusual close for our Closer, Nats were leading 8-4 as Finnegan entered the game for the 9th. Kyle gave up 5 runs in the 9th including 2 homerun's 1 run to Ketel Marte, and the other a walk-off to Corbin Carroll.

After the first 2 inning's the Nats were leading 6-0, and as mentioned above Arizona did not score a hit until the 4th inning. With 15 hits on the night as you can see in the chart below Alex Call (replacing our traded Lane Thomas to the Guardians) recorded the most RBI's with 3 on the night. Ramirez since replacing Jesse Winker (who was traded to the Mets in the 8th inning this past Saturday night) Harold Ramirez is 6-10 with 5 RBI's
