With the Nationals doing what they are doing in D.C., all eyes will be watching what is happening an hour down I-95 at 7:05 p.m. EDT. Tonight, RHP Stephen Strasburg will pitch for the Fredericksburg Nationals as they face the Salem Red Sox Tuesday night. We all know what is going on with Strasburg and that the 2019 World Series MVP has only pitched a handful plus of games for the Nationals after signing a massive contract, but what is important is not what is going to happen during the game but how Strasburg will feel after the game.

We all know that he has the stuff to be a Major League pitcher. No offense to any of the hitters that will face Strasburg tonight but hopefully, Strasburg will not get beat by a lot of low A ballplayers; the days after that matter the most, and what is the true future of the right-hander of the 2019 World Series MVP.

How will Strasburg feel in the days after pitching for four innings? What is the next step for Strasburg? Will he be making another rehab start somewhere else in the Nationals' minor league system? Could we see Strasburg take the mound in an upcoming Major League game during the month of June?

Or will this be a false flag, and he feels bad after tonight's start, and Strasburg will have another setback? Could this be the last time we see Strasburg on a mound pitching?

While tonight is going to be a good step forward but pay attention to the next couple of days because that is what matters the most.
