Matt Weyrich of NBC Sports Washington reported that Brady House will be shut down for the remainder of this season, resulting from a back issue that has kept him out since June, 11. Interestingly, Joey LoMonaco added that the plan is to get him ready for spring training. While that sounds promising, it also signals that House being ready is by no means guaranteed.
Between the Nats' trade deadline additions, and Brady House's injury-shortened campaign, House has slid all the way down to 6th on the Nats prospect rankings. Regardless, his development is still a crucial part of this rebuild.
