Rochester extended their franchise-record losing streak to 14 games after dropping Thursday afternoon's contest, 6-5, in Columbus...RHP Sterling Sharp picked up the loss, going three innings, allowing five runs on three hits while striking out three Clippers.
RHP Curtis Taylor, RHP Patrick Murphy, and RHP Matt Brill came on in relief and allowed just one earned run on three hits, punching out six batters in the process. The Rochetser Red Wings offense had 13 knocks in the loss with DH Riley Adams, 1B John Nogowski, and 3B Jake Alu logging multi-hit performances, all of the two-hit variety.
CF Cole Freeman and 2B Jake Noll also poked multiple knocks with three apiece. RHP Jefry Rodriguez will toe the rubber today for the Wings as they look to snap their 14-game skid.
