Well, it's official; Monday afternoon, World Series Champion Gerardo Parra announced on his Instagram channel that he has officially retired from Major League Baseball and will be given a role in the Washington Nationals front office. This wasn't a huge surprise as it was announced in late April that Parra was retiring.

Parra, who is perhaps best known for his role in Washington’s 2019 World Series championship and for bringing “Baby Shark” to Nationals Park,
