Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Union in conjunction with Candy Digital today are announcing the release of 2022 MLB NFT packs with a new twist — player stats on the NFTs will update daily. The NFTs featuring more than 700 players will be dropped beginning April 12.
The 2022 MLB ICON Leadoff Packs contain Icons (NFTs of MLB players’ cards) of five different MLB players. There are 4 lineups with 180 players in each lineup (720 total players). Candy’s MLB Packs are defined by buying a blind pack, unwrapping, and discovering what players and rarities you get. Leadoff Packs will be available to purchase for $50.00 USD and can be purchased by creating a Candy account profile, at www.candy.com/mlb
Registered Candy users will be able to purchase on the marketplace using funds from their Candy balance or with their Visa or Mastercard credit/debit card. Cryptocurrency and international payment methods will be offered in the near future. Candy users will be able to list and sell their 2022 MLB Leadoff Packs on Candy’s marketplace immediately after purchasing.
