The trade market for Washington Nationals' first baseman Josh Bell intensified Monday with may in the league believing that Mike Rizzo is focused on trading him before figuring out what to do with Juan Soto. According to various reports of Bell’s market estimates, five teams were pursuing him, the Astros, Brewers, and Mets among them.

Andy Martino of SNY reported Monday evening that the Washington Nationals are fielding calls for first baseman Josh Bell with the hope of making a deal before finding a landing spot for Soto.

"One league source with knowledge of Bell’s market estimated that five teams were pursuing him, the Astros, Brewers and Mets among them, and that Nationals GM Mike Rizzo was focused on completing a deal so he could move on to trading superstar Juan Soto," Martino wrote.

There’s a sense around the league that Bell is soon to move, so we will start to see a lot of Josh Bell trade rumors. It also seems that Josh Bell's days as a Washington National are numbered.
