We have all been there, a late-night Washington Nationals game, checking our watches to see when the Metro train is going to leave the Navy Yard, hoping that the game ends or just dealing with picking up an Uber or Lyft after the game is over. Well, thank goodness that might be a thing of the past.

According to WJLA - Channel 7, “Metro will supplement Green Line service before and after Nationals home games consistent with what we have routinely done in the past,” said a statement Metro sent to 7 News. “Additional trains will operate between Mt. Vernon Square and Anacostia stations to assist with crowding and provide connections to major transfer stations (Gallery Place for Red Line and L'Enfant Plaza for Yellow/Blue/Orange/Silver lines).”
