Fredericksburg Nationals (Single-A)
Kannapolis scored two in the 8th and two in the 9th to come back from a three-run deficit to knock off the Fredericksburg Nationals 6-5 in the series finale in front of 4,744 fans at Virginia Credit Union Stadium. Fredericksburg led 5-2 after seven innings but couldn't close out the victory. After Kannapolis took four out of the six games, the Fredericksburg Nationals dropped their first season series.
Both starters did well in the game, with Brendan Collins turning in a career-high 5.1 innings for Fredericksburg. He surrendered four hits and only two earned runs with six strikeouts and exited the game with the lead.
The Fredericksburg Nationals scored first in the game, with Jeremy De La Rosa driving in his Carolina League-best 30th run of the season with a double in the 3rd. Kannapolis bounced back with two runs of their own in the 4th against Collins, but the FredNats answered once again.
In the first run of the frame, T.J. White drove with an RBI single, and then Viandel Peña did the same. Yoander Rivero then came in to score on a balk by Kannapolis to push the lead to 4-2.
The Fredericksburg Nationals got another tally in the 5th when Branden Boissiere scored on a wild pitch to stretch the lead to 5-2. Wilfred Veras of Kannapolis continued his unbelievable series with a two-run homer in the 8th to dead center off Jose Ferrer, the first run Ferrer has allowed all season. The Cannon Ballers then scored two more in the 9th off a wild pitch and a sacrifice fly against Tyler Schoff, who took the loss.
The Fredericksburg Nationals were 3-for-15 with runners in scoring position in the loss.
Upcoming game: Fredericksburg will now look to bounce back when they travel to Salisbury, MD, to take on the Delmarva Shorebirds in a six-game set. The first pitch in Tuesday's game is scheduled for 11:05 a.m., and lefty Dustin Saenz is scheduled to start for Fredericksburg.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (High-A)
On Sunday, the Wilmington Blue Rocks lost 3-2 to the Brooklyn Cyclones, which was the game's completion suspended on May 14, 2022. LHP Time Cate got the loss, and his record now stands at 2-1 with an ERA of 4.63. The team went 3-15 with runners in scoring position and left 11 players on base.
Runs came off the bats of Drew Mendoza and Israel Pineda. Darren Baker checked in with his eighth double of the season.
Upcoming game: The Blue Rocks have the day off, and then tomorrow, they will start a six-game homestand series against the Jersey Shore Blue Claws.

Harrisburg Senators (Double-A)
The Harrisburg Senators ended their series against the Richmond Fly Dogs with a 12-1 win Sunday afternoon. RHP Ronald Herrera got the win and now has a 2-2 record with an ERA of 4.46.
Nationals shortstop prospect Jackson Cluff checked in with his fifth RBI of the season and went 4-2 Sunday afternoon.
Upcoming game: The Senators have the day off, and then tomorrow, they will start a six-game series against the Portland Sea Dogs.

Rochester Red Wings (Triple-A)
Rochester tallied their ninth straight win and secured a series sweep of the Woo Sox in a wild 7-4 comeback win thanks to a clutch seventh-inning homer from Andrew Young that sent the game to extra innings.
Trailing 3-2 until the seventh, the Wings allowed just two runs after the third. They have not lost in extra-inning games all season.
Jackson Tetrault got the start at the mound and allowed two third-inning runs to put the Wings in a 2-0 whole. He gave up three hits and struck out five in three innings of work.
The Woo Sox allowed just four hits on a career day for RHP Connor Seabold, who struck out 11 batters and walked just one. Feltman relieved him in the seventh and allowed two Wings runs.
Wings players Luis Garcia and Andrew Stevenson have played well this series but were unable to get anything going today, recording zero hits in 11 total at-bats.
Sox catcher Ronaldo Hernandez dopped a pitch in the ninth, leading to the Chris Hermann tying score that sent it to extra innings.
The Wings scored four runs in the 10th frame thanks to a Taylor Gushue sacrifice fly and singles from Urena and Young.
Upcoming game: Rochester will face the Lehigh Valley as they prepare for a homestand against the Iron Pigs, starting with a 7:05 opener on Tuesday. The Wings look to run their win streak to 10, which would be the first time since 1992 that the squad won 10 straight.
