One of the bright spots for the Washington Nationals has been LHP Sean Doolittle, and it looks like the Nationals will be without the left-hander. Wednesday, the Nationals announced that they have placed LHP Sean Doolittle on the 10-day list injured list with a left elbow sprain.

According to Mark Zuckerman of MASN, Doolittle said that his elbow felt a little sore while the team was in Pittsburg and it got much worse yesterday. Doolittle ended up getting an MRI after Tuesday night's game and got the results. Doolittle has yet to provide what are the next steps to get him back into the baseball field.

Doolittle has yet to issue a run in his six-game appearances and has only given up one hit over 5.1 innings.
