Calls for Washington Nationals shortstop prospect Luis Garica to be moved from Triple-A to the Majors have been frequent over the past few weeks. Everyone's wish might be happening as early as today. According to Talk Nats, the Washington Nationals prospect is in fact in New York and could be activated today if Alcides Escobar is put on the IL.

Last night, Escobar hurt his hamstring in fielding and then exited the game. Escobar said that it was just a cramp and won't need to go on the IL.
