Leading today's Morning Briefing: Washington Nationals agree to terms with ten international free agents. With very little to no news happening in Major League Baseball, all eyes were focused on Saturday when the International signing period opened up. The Nationals wasted no time agreeing to terms with ten free agents including Cuban CF Cristhian Vaquero. This wasn't a surprise at all that the Nationals singed Cristhian Vaquero.  TalkNats has an interview with Vaquero that is worth checking out.

Aníbal Sánchez Considering Return To MLB In 2022? The former Washington National and 2019 NLCS hero right-handed pitcher Aníbal Sánchez are considering returning to the MLB In 2022 according to MLB Trade Rumors. From their article: "He held multiple showcases for interested clubs, even into late April. However, he never found a deal to his liking and ended up deciding to sit out the season. But that doesn’t mean he’s retired, as Alex Speier of the Boston Globe reports that Sanchez is considering a return in 2022. A return to form for Sánchez would be quite a feat for the hurler who turns 38 in February, though he’s been counted out before."
