It’s Spotify Wrapped season!
- What’s Wrapped? Spotify, the music and audio streaming app, compiles users’ streaming content from the past year, revealing listeners’ top 100 songs, top 20 artists, and top five podcasts.
- Taylor Swift was the most streamed artist globally, and ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ topped the platform’s podcast charts. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

📌 DRIVING THE DAY HERE AT THE NATS REPORT
📌Happy 20th - Washington Nationals. Yesterday, the Washington Nationals announced the team will be hosting a season-long 20th Anniversary celebration titled: "NATS20". From the Nationals press release: Highlighted by the Cheers to 20 Years Sweepstakes, the campaign features in-park giveaways, special alumni appearances, and the chance for fans to relive their favorite memories from the first 20 years of Nationals baseball. Details of the sweepstakes — the biggest in Club history — will be unveiled next week when single-game tickets go on sale." The Nationals will also wear a special 20th-anniversary patch on their uniforms for the entire season.
📌 Say what?? This was a bit of a surprise, to be honest. According to media reports, former New York Mets and Yankees pitcher Luis Severino has found a new home with the Athletics. The right-hander agreed to a three-year, $67 million contract, the most lucrative deal in A's history, surpassing the previous record held by Eric Chavez.

📌: A's make a splash on and off the field. Yesterday, the Las Vegas Stadium Authority cleared the last major hurdle for the A's to start the construction of their $1.75 billion stadium right on the Vegas Strip. The A's move has been part of an ongoing effort for the city of Las Vegas to expand its sporting market. ESPN has the story this morning. "It's a really significant day in Las Vegas," Steve Hill, CEO and president of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, said in his closing remarks. "Today's a real milestone. I think we should recognize that and celebrate that." According to ESPN's reporting "Nevada and Clark County are providing $380 million in public funds for a 30,000-seat domed stadium estimated to have a 33,000 capacity. Public financing doesn't begin until the A's have spent at least $100 million."
