According to multiple sources, the Nationals have reportedly signed veteran RHP Steve Cisheck to a one-year deal. According to Ken Rosenthal, the Nationals signed the veteran pitcher to a one-year deal.

According to a report by USA Today’s Bob Nightengale, Cishek will earn, “a little less than $2 million,” on his one-year deal with the Nationals.

Steve Cishek has a career ERA of 2.85 with a 32-39 win-loss record and a 1.98 WHIP. Cishek has played for a lot of teams over the course of his career. Cishek was selected by the Marlins in the fifth round of the 2007 MLB draft. Cishek was called up to the MLB for the first time on September 20, 2010. He has played with the Florida Marlins, St. Louis Cardinals, Seattle Mariners, Tampa Bay Rays, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, and Los Angeles Angels and holds the Marlins franchise record for consecutive saves with 33 in a row.
