Erie, PA - Today, the Harrisburg Senators got a shoutout by the Erie Seawolves 5-0 in a rain-shortened game in Erie. The Senators are now 39-32 and 2nd in the EAS Southwest. Getting the loss for the Senators was RHP Kyle Luckham, who now has a 3-5 record with a 4.14 ERA.

Kyle Luckham pitched 6.0 innings, giving up five runs on five hits (three earned), struck out four, and only walked one.

The Senators went 0-4 with runners in scoring position and left five on base this afternoon. Brady House got the sole hit for the Senators when he hit a single in the top of the fourth, which moved Daylen Lile to third, where he would be stranded. Additionally, the Senators committed two errors during the game.

The Seawolves were able to kick off the scoring in the bottom of the second with one run. Then, in the bottom of the sixth, they added three runs, and that would be the end of the game due to the rain.

Erie starter Garrett Burhenn turned in a gem. In six frames, Burhenn allowed just one hit. He did not allow a run and struck out a career-high 11 batters while walking three.

Next, the series will continue tomorrow night at 6:05 p.m. as the Senators will send RHP Michael Cuevas (1-7; 5.63 ERA) to the mound and face RHP Troy Melton (3-5; 4.58 ERA) from the Seawloves.
