With tonight's 8-0 loss against the Atlanta Braves, the Washington Nationals have reached a grim milestone: 100 losses in 2022. This was the first 100 lost seasons since 2008 (103) and 2009 (102) and three short years since 2019.

Hopefully, the 2022 season will be a distant memory. We can all laugh together and talk about some of the bad days/games in 2022. Glad to see Dave Martinez express frustration.

Richard wrote back in August when Juan Soto was traded; everyone within the Nationals organization should bottle up this feeling and hope they never have to experience it again.

There’s only one way to go from this point forward. Have the Nationals reached the bottom? We will be exploring this topic all off-season long. We will have more in tomorrow's Morning Briefing.
