Yesterday, for the first time in a while, President of Baseball Operations and General Manager Mike Rizzo made themselves available via ZOOM.

Typically, both front-office executives would have been available during the Winter Meetings; however, it's 2020, so nothing is expected. Since the Winter Meetings were held virtually, there hasn't been a press avail in a while. That all changed yesterday. While there wasn't any big news that came out of the meetings, but there were some exciting quotes and headlines. Our friends at Talk Nats.com has a great recap and worth your time. One headline that did catch our eye is that Mike Rizzo dispels the idea of acquiring Chicago Cubs third baseman Kis Bryant. ESPN has the details: "Moments after his manager mentioned that Chicago Cubs star Kris Bryant has "come up" in conversations, Washington Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo quashed any ideas of acquiring the former MVP."
