Bill Wade has been part of the Rochester community since 1970, when he came to Roberts Wesleyan University. After earning his degree, he spent 33 years teaching fifth grade and 18 years coaching high school varsity basketball, leading his teams to 11 league titles and a New York State championship in 1999.

A lifelong fan of developing young talent, Bill attended his first Rochester Red Wings game in 1971 and has followed the team ever since. Now a proud season ticket holder, he enjoys watching future major leaguers sharpen their skills in Rochester. Bill and his wife, Paula, live nearby, close to their two sons and four grandchildren
