Okay, folks, we have made it to the end of the 2020 baseball season. I honestly can't believe that we in fact made it to the end, I really thought that we would never be here. But here we are. Welcome to Free Agency 2020.

While the Washington Nationals have a lot of holes to fill, and we will be covering all the rumors, signings, and more here on the Nats Report, here are some of the key dates to bookmark your calendars.

Key Dates for 2020 - 2021 OffSeason

October 27-28: The conclusion of the World Series starts the countdown for free agency.

November 3: Exercising options, making qualifying offers to free agents, and declaring for free agency will be happening by that date and possibly before that.

Nov. 9-12: The BBWAA will begin announcing award winners for the 2020 season. The specific schedule will be as follows: AL and NL Rookie of the Year on Nov. 9; AL and NL Manager of the Year on Nov. 10; AL and NL Cy Young Award winners on Nov. 11; AL and NL Most Valuable Player award on Nov. 12.

December 5: All Major League Baseball Teams will have to make tender/non-tender decisions by that date for arbitration-eligible players. An extensive MLB list is here from MLBTR.

December 6: The winter meetings were supposed to start on December 6th in Dallas, Texas at the Omni Dallas Hotel. This event will most likely be a virtual event, however, we are still awaiting any details.

Feb. 27: Spring training officially begins. You can check out the full schedule here. MLB's release does note that the schedule is "subject to change," which is a more ominous clause than it was a year ago.

April 1: And here's Opening Day 2021. All 30 clubs are slated to be in action, with 10 of the 15 games featuring divisional play.
