According to multiple news sources, the Washington Nationals are signing RHP Trevor Williams to a 2-year deal. Williams has been with multiple teams, including the New York Mets.
UPDATE: According to Stephen J. Nesbitt MLB writer, The Athletic, the deal is for $13 million.
The wait is finally over, the Nationals have made a nice move this offseason, and it's not just for a one-year contract,
The Nationals are signing RHP Trevor Williams to a 2-year deal. 30-year-old bounced between rotation and bullpen this season with the New York Mets. Willimas posted a 3.21 ERA and 1.227 WHIP across 89.2 innings pitched. He could be the Nats' No. 5 starter or long reliever.
