Eddy Yean was signed by the Washington Nationals during the 2018 international signing period as a 17-year-old. He remained in the Nationals organization until being traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates, along with two other prospects, in exchange for Josh Bell. At the time of the deal, Yean ranked as the Nationals’ No. 12 prospect.
