Today the Washington Nationals look to bounce back from their loss last night against the Athletics. The Nationals are scheduled to send right-handed pitcher Cade Cavalli, who is making his 2025 debut, and will face left-handed Jeffrey Spring, who has a record of 10-7 with an ERA of 4.00. The Washington Nationals dropped another tough game to the Athletics. MacKenzie Gore struggled out of the gate, and the team allowed things to spiral all last night.

Gore took the mound and sadly delivered one of his worst outings of the season. He was tagged for 12 hits and eight runs before being pulled in the fourth inning.

The Nationals are scheduled to send left-handed pitcher Mitchell Parker with a record of 7-11 and a 5.35 ERA. The A’s are scheduled to send Jacob Lopez, who has a 4-6 record and a 3.99 ERA.

After tomorrow’s game, the Nationals will embark on a six-game road trip that will take them from San Francisco this weekend for a three-game series and then head to Kansas City next week.
