Tonight the Washington Nationals and the Miami Marlins will kick off a three-game series to finish up this six game home stand. The Nationals will be sending RHP Cade Cavalli to the mound to face the Marlins while the Nationals will face right handed pitcher Sandy Alcentara who has a 3-4 record and an ERA of 4.66

Yesterday, the Washington Nationals defeated the San Diego Padres 4-2 to take the teams third series in a row. Zack Littell through 6.0 innings and only giving up two runs, to earn his fifth win in his last six starts. Additionally, James Wood went 1-for-3 with a home run, 2 RBI, a walk and a run. Lastly, Luis García Jr. went 1-for-3, also with a home run an RBI and a run.

Tomorrow, the Nationals will continue their three game series against the Marlins and are scheduled to send right handed pitcher Miles Mikolas to the mound who has a 1-4 record and an ERA of 5.72. The Marlins have yet to announce their starter, so stay tuned.
