The Washington Nationals will finish the second half of their six-game homestand by welcoming the St. Louis Cardinals this weekend, starting tonight at Nationals Park. The Nationals will send LHP Mitchell Parker (3-2, 3.48) to the mound and face former Washington Nationals pitcher RHP Erick Fedde (2-3, 4.78) from the St. Louis Cardinals.

After a day off on Thursday, the Washington Nationals kick off a three-game weekend series against the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday night at Nationals Park.

The break ended a grueling stretch of 16 games in 16 days since April 22, during which the Nationals posted an 8-8 record.

Washington enters the series having won four of its last seven games and holds a 16-15 record (.516) since April 5.

On Sunday afternoon, the Nationals will play their final game of their three-game weekend series against the Cardinals with first pitch at 1:35 p.m. EDT. The Nationals will send LHP Mackenzie Gore to the mound and face RHP Miles Mikolas (1-2, 4.76) from the Cardinals. After the Cardinals leave Washington, the Nationals will kick off a seven-game, seven-day trip to face the Atlanta Braves and the Baltimore Orioles.
