Game Recap
LAST GAME RECAP

The Washington Nationals opened their series against the Milwaukee Brewers with a 7–3 win, fueled by a four-run outburst in the ninth inning. James Wood led the offense, going 4-for-5 with two doubles, an RBI, and a run scored, while CJ Abrams added a 2-for-3 effort with a double, an RBI, and a run.
Washington’s bullpen delivered a strong performance, combining for four shutout innings while allowing just two hits, no walks, and striking out two. The victory snapped the Nationals’ six-game losing streak against the Brewers.
With another win this weekend, Washington can lock up its second road series victory of the season—and its first series triumph over Milwaukee since August 2–4, 2024, in D.C. It would also mark the Nationals’ first road series win against the Brewers since July 12–14, 2024.
