Here are some top stories we've been following in the Nats Report Newsroom this past week
This past week, Washington Nationals pitchers and catchers reported to sunny West Palm Beach in Florida, and the baseball world will be one step closer to the official start of spring training. There were a lot of interesting headlines and storylines that came out this past week. We will cover many of them later in this week’s edition of The Weekly; however, things look great for the team down in West Palm Beach. Nationals manager Dave Martinez met with reporters on day one of pitchers and catchers and spent about 20 minutes talking to reporters about various topics and covered a lot of ground. Martinez discussed CJ Abrams, the Nationals bullpen, the hot corner, and the addition of Japanese Pitcher Shinnosuka Ogasawara. Overall, it was a great first few days in West Palm Beach!
