The Washington Nationals defeated the Milwaukee Brewers, 3–1, on Saturday night to secure the series victory. It marks Washington’s second road series win of the season, their first series win over the Brewers since Aug. 2 - 4, 2024 in D.C., and their first road series win in Milwaukee since July 12–14, 2024.
With a win on Sunday, the Nationals would complete their first series sweep of the season, their first sweep of Milwaukee since April 15–17, 2011 in D.C., and their first sweep at Milwaukee since June 2–4, 2006.
