Doesn't it feel that we have seen this story before? If you have been a fan of the Washington Nationals you have because it has happened before. It looks like a bunch of Phillies fans will be attending Ryan Zimmerman's #11 retirement game in June.
Philly Sports Trips is "preparing for our third bus trip to D.C. on Saturday, June 18th. Our trip last summer was a blast and we are excited to head back down to “Citizens Bank South”!"
The Philly Sports Trip website talks about what is included in the trip: " First of all, we always have one of our awesome DJs on our bus trips to turn the tailgate into a party. Award-winning food from Cav’s Catering always blows people away when they try it for the first time. Do we need to mention the mussels, pasta, filet-mignon sandwiches, craft beer, and seltzers? Everyone will also receive one of those highly coveted Philly Sports Trips’ 2022 T-shirts. We leave on charter buses from the South Philadelphia stadiums. After our bus ride down to Washington, we will enter the stadium and sit in our group seats (100 level!) to watch the Phillies take on the Nationals. Everyone will be back home to Philly on Saturday night after the game."
Let's hope that there are more Nationals fans than Philly fans for this game.
