The shakeup in the Washington Nationals front office continues. According to the Washington Post, De Jon Watson won’t return as director of player development for the Washington Nationals, multiple people familiar with the situation have told The Washington Post.

De Jon’s departure also comes after a dozen members of the Nationals scouting department were informed that their contracts would not be renewed in addition to Johnny DiPuglia, one of Rizzo’s closest confidants, resigned as international scouting director.
