Former Washington Nationals outfielder Kyle Schwarber destroyed a baseball this afternoon while the Phillies were visiting Coors Field. The ball was smashed to the third, yes third deck at Coors Field.
Statcast has the ball leaving his bat at 110 MPH and traveling 468 feet, making it the longest home run of the season so far (it would have been among the top-10 for all of last season, as well).
That’s Schwarber’s fourth homer of the year, though he’s hitting just .174/.255/.457 (101 wRC+) on the season.
