The Harrisburg Senators and Hartford Yard Goats (Colorado Rockies) play game three of their six-game series tonight at Dunkin’ Donuts Park in downtown Hartford, CT. This is the second and final series between the two teams this season. They played a six-game series in April at FNB Field, with Hartford taking four of the six games.

The Senators scored first, taking a 1-0 lead in the first inning but couldn’t expand on the lead and fell to Hartford 6-2. Andrew Young homered in the fourth to trim the deficit to 3-2, but the Senators couldn’t keep Hartford at bay, with the Yard Goats scoring a run in the fourth and two in the ninth.

The Yard Goats played on the road in 2016 before moving into Dunkin’ Donuts Park in 2017. The franchise began in New Britain in 1983 and has previously been affiliated with the Red Sox and Twins. The franchise has two EL Championships (both in New Britain), but they haven’t made the playoffs since 2009, missing one game in the first half.
