The Red Wings dropped the series finale in Buffalo 1-0, as the Bisons completed the three-game sweep. On Sunday, RHP Cory Abbott pitched four innings and allowed just a single run which came via the long ball.

DH Riley Adams provided the offense for Rochester, logging three of the squad's six knocks. OF Josh Palacios' single contest, extending his on-base streak to 27 games and his hit streak to 14 games, relievers RHP Jefry Rodriguez, LHP Alberto Baldonado, and RHP Mason Thompson provided the Red Wings with four scoreless innings out of the pen, surrendering just one hit following Abbott's outing.

Sunday afternoon, the Rochester Red Wings lost even though they surrendered six hits during the game and allowed one run; Rochester's Sunday afternoon loss at Buffalo puts the Red Wings at 22-23 on the road this season. Rochester is below .500 away from home for the first time since the season opener, and the Red Wings were shut out twice in the series, bringing their season total to seven.

RHP Franklyn Kilome will head to the mound today for the Wings, who will oppose the RailRiders' left-handed arm in Ken Waldichuk, marking his second Triple-A start of the season. This will be the first outing that earned him his first Triple-A win of 2022 (5.2 IP, 8 H, 0 ER) and his first since September 3, 2021, as a member of the Syracuse Mets.
