Quick Notes: LA Dodgers To Sign Freddie Freeman

The Dodgers are adding another star, reportedly agreeing to terms with Freddie Freeman on a six-year, $162MM contract. As we reported yesterday, Freeman said goodbye in an Instagram Post to Braves Nation.

From MLB Trade Rumnors.com, they note that "Among qualified hitters, only Juan Soto fared better by the measure of wRC+, and Freeman earned a resounding victory in that year’s Senior Circuit MVP balloting. It was never realistic to expect him to repeat that kind of otherworldly performance over a full schedule, but he returned to his metronomically consistent ways in 2021."
