Maybe the changes that Major League has implemented over the past year have positively affected attendance.

According to Major League Baseball, last night, Friday, September 30, 2022, the total attendance across Baseball was the best attended Friday for Major League Baseball since June 21, 2019 (528,179). The total attendance on Friday night was 526,517.

It was the highest September Friday since the final weekend of 2014 (9/26). Additionally, at 35,101, it was the highest average attendance on a September Friday since 2008 (9/26).

It will be interesting to see the total viewership numbers for the season once it is over.
