MLB announces they will have the 20-round MLB Draft during the All-Star Week in Los Angeles on July 17th-19, with a draft combine June 14-20 at Petco Park in San Diego. The Washington Nationals hold the fifth spot in the first round of the draft.

The Nationals haven’t had a top 10 pick since 2011, when they took Anthony Rendon at No. 6, a year after nabbing Bryce Harper No. 1 overall in 2010, and Stephen Strasburg with the top overall selection in 2009.
