The Washington Nationals have claimed left-handed pitcher Jake McGee on outright waivers from Milwaukee and designated Donovan Casey for assignment.

Tampa Bay Devil Rays selected McGee in the fifth round of the 2004 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut in 2008; on July 22, 2022, McGee signed a one-year contract with the Milwaukee Brewers. On August 7, 2022, McGee was designated for assignment.
