On April 15, outfielder Dee Strange-Gordon went to the IL with an illness and according to an announcement today by the Triple-A Rochester Red Wings, Strange-Gordon will be beginning his rehab assignment today as the Red Wings take on the Syracuse Mets at Frontier Field in Rochester.

Let's hope that Strange Gordon gets back to the majors soon as the Nationals need some additional bodies on the bench. So far, Dee Strange-Gordon has only had three at-bats and only appeared in three games for the Nationals before heading to the IL.

Additionally, The Washington Nationals have transferred INF Alfredo Rodriguez to Rochester.
